Ms. Galati’s areas of practice include real estate and corporate transactions.

Ms. Galati obtained her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Idaho in 1983. In 2005, she received her Juris Doctor Degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. Ms. Galati served as Notes Editor of the Nevada Law Journal, and earned CALI awards in Legal Writing; Professional Responsibility; Wills, Trusts & Estates; and Intellectual Property.

Prior to joining Marquis & Aurbach, Ms. Galati worked as a prosecutor for the City of Las Vegas. While in law school, she completed externships for the Honorable James C. Mahan and the United States Attorney’s Office. Ms. Galati also worked as a research assistant in the areas of contracts and secured transactions.

Before attending law school, Ms. Galati worked as an engineer and vice president of Nevada Power Company.

Ms. Galati’s published work includes The ERISA Hokey Pokey: You Put Your Top Hat In, You Put Your Top Hat Out, 5 NEV. L.J. 587 (Winter 2004/2005).

Ms. Galati enjoys spending time with her husband, Craig, and their two sons, and relaxes by working Sudoku puzzles, reading, and camping in the Nevada desert.
