Ms. Drury’s practice focuses on transactions, with an emphasis in real estate. She documents and oversees entity formation, land and business acquisition, construction agreements, loans (construction and permanent), general operational and contract needs, and the ultimate sale of land or improved properties and businesses.
Ms. Drury has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Print Journalism from the University of Southern California, with a minor in Business Administration. She has a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
As chairperson of the transactional department at Marquis & Aurbach, Ms. Drury managed and oversaw $2.6 billion in loan closings for our many clients in 2006. Ms. Drury joined the firm in 2001 as the first in her department and since that time, has grown the department to over 10 attorneys and staff, which is now the largest or one of the largest transactional departments in the State of Nevada.
Prior to joining Marquis & Aurbach, Ms. Drury served as Associate General Counsel at Station Casinos, Inc., and at Sigma Game, Inc. She was also an attorney in the commercial transactions department of Schreck Morris.
Ms. Drury serves on the State Bar of Nevada’s Executive Committee of the Business Law Section, which, among other things, drafts statutes for consideration and adoption by the legislature of the State of Nevada. She is a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education providers and regularly publishes articles in trade periodicals.
Ms. Drury enjoys travel, especially adventure travel, as well as most types of outdoor recreational activities, including backpacking.
