Ms. Barretto-Ko practices in the areas of asset protection, estate planning, probate, guardianships, and estate & gift taxation.
Ms. Barretto-Ko obtained her Masters of Law (LL.M.)degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law from which she graduated magna cum laude. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Gonzaga University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a member of both the State Bar of Nevada and the Washington State Bar Association.
Ms. Barretto-Ko often gives educational seminars to the community regarding estate planning, probate avoidance, and business succession planning. She also contributes articles to local publications such as Las Vegas Business Press. Ms. Barretto-Ko is involved in various community outreach organizations where she volunteers her time. She is a member of the financial advisor group for the Nevada State College Foundation and is a Court Appointed Special Advocate [CASA] volunteer.
Ms. Barretto-Ko was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. In 1990, she moved to Las Vegas where she has resided ever since. She loves spending time with her husband, Rick and their families and friends. She enjoys traveling, reading, snowboarding, kickboxing, and practicing Bikram yoga.
