Mr. Hardy’s areas of practices include: defamation defense, intellectual property litigation, and general civil litigation. Mr. Hardy also does liquor & gaming licensing.
Mr. Hardy graduated from Weber State University where he majored in Political Science and minored in Legal Studies. While attending Weber State University, Mr. Hardy captained Weber State’s Mock Trial team to a fifth place finish at the National Tournament held in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2002, and a thirteenth place finish at the National Tournament held in Des Moines, Iowa in 2003.
Mr. Hardy attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He joined Marquis & Aurbach in June 2005. Prior to coming to Marquis & Aurbach, Mr. Hardy served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Federal District Court Judge James C. Mahan. While serving the Honorable Judge Mahan, Mr. Hardy assisted Judge Mahan in his services as Judge Pro Tempore on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena, California.
Mr. Hardy enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa and his two boys Payton and Cole. Mr. Hardy is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time either in the woods or on the golf course. |
